In this episode of the Better Human Show, I talk with Boysen Hodgson, communications director of the Mankind Project.  A lot of us have heard of the Mankind Project, but don’t really know what they do besides share some heartwarming & feel good content on social media, where they have about a million fans on Facebook. We talk about mythopoetic rituals and how to develop deeper, more meaningful relationships.

The ManKind Project flies in the face of rigid stereotypes about the "Sensitive New Age Man" AND the "Macho Man". The mankind projects asks men to go right up to the edge - and beyond - in a culture that seems to be comfortable with mediocrity and passivity from men. They ask men to stop living a vicarious adventure through their TV's and step into a real time adventure to win back their passion for life. They ask men to confront the real issues, to get 100% honest about who they are. Some men have a really hard time doing that. Many did too, but  took the risk anyway.  And we’ll talk about how life changes for men who begin to approach life differently after experiencing the New Warrior Training Adventure.

This conversation goes deep, and caused me to re-evaluate some long held beliefs.
